For those who delivered their own trade in, did it go directly to the Lewisville address on the printing label? Or does it go to a Dallas distribution center and sits there until someone from Assurant comes to pick it up? My shipment status says awaiting pickup at the Dallas distribution center. Why wouldnt usps not just deliver it to the Lewisville office suite listed on the shipping label?

Yes mine is stuck five lines down from the top of your history list where it says available for pickup. It's been like this for almost a week. Does Assurant send a person to go pick these up from Dallas? Maybe they only go pick them up in batches? How long did yours stay at the available for pickup step? Seems weird that Assurant has to go pick it up instead of delivering it directly to their office. How does Assurant even know there is a package for them to pickup?

No one knows. This is secret insider information.

Mines took 1 day but this can vary from 1day-30days depending on how busy they are.
Seems this deal is too good so now Assurant is getting millions of trade in.

How does Assurant even know there is a package for them to pickup?
They get thousands or maybe millions of phones per day. They will know when to pick it up.

My trade-in has been 'awaiting pickup' in Dallas for three days now. The good news is I received my monthly bill credit on my latest statement although the trade-in hasn't been 'accepted' yet.

Happy to report that everything worked smoothly. Some quick takes:
  • USPS tracking *still* doesn't show my device as received, but trade in confirmations arrived
  • My phone model/carrier didn't fully match, but IMEI had no problems being processed. No issues trading in a locked Tracfone
  • Bill credit showed up the day after my Costco visit, and first bill processed with no issue, even with EIP being fully paid off
7/28: TracFone delivered from Amazon
7/29: Setup order and trade in at local Costco
7/31: Bill credits already showing, paid off EIP to have warranty coverage via credit card
8/1: Motorola device delivered, activated
8/2: Local TMO store couldn't complete trade, dropped off at USPS
8/11: Received trade in and bill credit confirmations

For anyone looking at their USPS status, mine shows in transit still even after TMO received and processed in Lewisville:

Should we be getting the bill credits on the first bill? Or will it start the second bill? My Costco guy said the bill credits might not appear on the first bill and we would get two credits on the second bill. Is that possible depending on how the Costco guy set it up? Or do they have no control over that and everyone will definitely get a bill credit on the first bill?

Mine started on the first bill but terms and conditions say to allow up to 2 billing cycles

I read one comment earlier that stated Costco waived the $35 activation fee. Is this common protocol? Or representative dependent? I've been on hold for the longest trying to order the phone. If I can save a few bucks, then I'll just wait until Monday to order in-store when I go grocery shopping.

I know right people are just simply lazy and want to be spoon fed everything. I get it this forum is to help people. And for the most parts people that know will help. However. But at least do some basic reading before you ask questions

Yep, one. I haven't read all 70-plus pages of this thread (not sorry). I've read many though and can only recall one comment that said the kiosk rep waived the $35 activation (there might be others). My brother-in-law had a different experience in-store, but he was able to get T-Force to refund it later. So I was trying to see if the waiving was policy or up to the representative. That is, did my BIL just get an uninformed rep? Nonetheless, I'll find out for sure on Monday.
