I got in with the orginal deal without any issues. There was a lot of misinformation in the orginal thread, but yes, all you have to do it just activate the phone with the fi app, then take the Fi SIM out and never touch it again (sock drawer it, trash it, etc). You can pop in a SIM from another carrier with no problem. After 120 days have passed you can verify that it's finalized in your fi account > savings > earned. At that point you can do whatever you want, the discount is yours to keep.
I think a significant difference here is we are not getting the storage upgrade for free? I got this deal last time but got the s23 ultra with 512gb for the same price as they are offering the 256gb.

How do they consider you as existing customer. If I take the line today and open an account with them, then would I be able to purchase this today itself?

The reference link is for all the tips in the wiki on how the deal works and how not to lose the $600 bonus.

Agreed there are differences and this deal is not as good as the last.

Major thing to keep in mind is NOT to keep the Fi SIm in any other mobile.

Got this in Feb at same price and free 512GB upgrade, but I think this price is as good as it gets.

Yep. This isn't bad if you want the S23 (get Ultra if you could).

The original deal also had iphone 11 TIV of $310 or so which sweetened the deal but that promotion also short lived as well.

Not a bad deal. My Ultra is solid and I came from a small phone (Galaxy s10e) but I think if you are o. The fence between S23 and S23U, get the Ultra.

I wonder if this would work. Sign up a new account with Google fi and get 1000 off Galaxy fold 4. Pay the remaining in full and add s23 ultra as an existing customer and get 600 off. Both promo requires 120 days 🤔

I did this last year. It was similar. I created a new Google Fi account and chose the s22 plus and kept it activated for 4 months with Google and under the rebates or promotion section of their app, it finally showed us cleared on day 121. And it was unlocked from day one. I ported my phone number out to another provider and was not hassled by Google. Got a really good phone for 400 bucks plus about 40 bucks a month for 4 months of service which is about $160 bucks. I used a lot of data.

Seems to work if you have an account and were a previous customer but not active.

I'm a previous customer, not currently active but all I see is the option of getting bill credits.

I don't see this working for me, am a customer who was last active in OCR 22. Tried multiple ways by using incognito as well, after login with my account last used fi in oct 22, deal is not not showing up, except 24 month comitment and credit for $700
