With the bosch unit, the indoor unit drip pan had a crack and they wouldnt even hear my request to escalate it to tech support because a licensed hvac tech didnt install it.
I recently installed 18k for a 500 SQ ft living room with 15 ft ceilings and it's far more than enough even when 95F.
18k won't dehumidify such a small space.

If you don't need it for heat, then probably fine for a budget A/C?
I really wish I could find one installer in the $500- range. I have 4 units to install.

Bought a cheaper gauge set off Amazon. I was showing a leak when I pulled the vacuum. I think several of the seals on the gauge set were leaking. Returned that and got the pro brand Yellow Jacket manifold gauge set. That one works great.
