Just google "moto edge 2022 software updates" and you may find the souce.
One example: https://www.phonearena.com/news/t...e_id144279

All the reviews done in 2022 said Motorola guaranteed 3 years os updates (to android 15) and four years security updates for both 2022 edge models.

One example:
https://www.pcmag.com/reviews/mot...-edge-2022

Another one:
https://www.theverge.com/23331712...tery-price

When Motorola released the edge/edge+ 2022 models in 2022, it definitely said 3 years os and 4 years security updates for those those two devices which were the first two devices Motorola had ever promised 3 os updates.

yes, it was released with android 12 over a year ago.

android 13 was released on 8/2022 and we still don't have it, people are complaining but i knew it would be like this:

https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/moto...-p/5230835

the verizon version of the edge+ 2022 is slated for android 13, but boost is not on the list: https://en-us.support.motorola.co.../g_id/1949

ok.

this is where i saw the information

Our new Edge device will receive at least 2 major Android OS upgrades and 3 years of bi-monthly... [9to5google.com]

edge + 2022 Security updates will stop on February, 2025 [motorola.com]

edge + 2023 Security updates will stop on May, 2027 [motorola.com]

if above links dont work. just select the 2 products on the tab.

direct from moto site
It seems like Motorola is confusing users again.

Google "How long will Moto Edge 2022 be supported", and most results show 3 os updates and 4 years security updates.

which i find hard to believe

you can turn off the automatic monthly charge on the credit card that you have on file with boost, but they won't let you delete the card from your account Confused

i'm not about to pay $41.xx a month for phone service, if boost charges my card i guess that i'll have to file a chargeback.

people in other boost threads have attempted to cancel the monthly plan with boost, and they ran into difficulty.

some people used a virtual card, but there really isn't a good free solution for that... privacy.com for instance wants far more of your personal information than many are willing to give 'em.

even just one android update would be a step forward! i'm keeping the phone regardless of what happens.

most of the companies in that list aren't scheduled for android updates, it's not just boost.

Is it still possible?

if unlocked with ebay code, will this work on US Mobile Verizon? ive seen some say that prepaid verizon works on these unlocked boost phones, but xfinity verizon mvno doesn't work...
I unlocked it the same day and popped in my US Mobile sim, works perfectly.

I know a few credit cards like the citi double cash have free virtual numbers with a set spending limit per day and expiration date. I used that for the order, but will also call or chat if needed to cancel service.
