I have used them both because my friend reviews tech products for a living and I go over and play with them. This is a much stronger processor. It also supports a desktop mode and the a54 does not. This has a glass build wireless charging and a lot more flagship features.

Major benefit to the a54 is that it's going to be updated for a lot longer.a54 we'll get Android 13 and 14 and 15 and this will probably just get Android 14. And it won't get security patches for as long.

Personally I would go with the Motorola but if I was recommending a phone to a casual user like my mom or my sister I might lean with the a54 just cuz it'll be secure for a longer period of time and they probably wouldn't make use of the flagship features like the desktop mode or the stylus.

The Motorola also has stylus support with an external stylus you can buy, an amazing desktop mode with a dock. Definitely a more premium piece of hardware

Yes this been going on for awhile in The Feb thread.

Was thinking of getting one but
Slow Moto Android upgrades, no dual sim, avg cam, large size stopped me.

Was going to get it for $50 with in store port in...but boost stores charge MSRP tax, activation fees, and higher plan... Similar to metro stores...so I didn't go that route.

Just a little review here. I received the phone on Monday and have been using it since. For $200 this phone is a steal. I am updating from a Oneplus 9 that I got last year on a Slickdeal from Best Buy for $150. The biggest issue I had was that it was only 128gb and the OnePlus 7 I had before was 256gb. This being 512gb takes away any space concerns which were a big problem before. The Snapdragon processor is top of the line and for me the Ready Now is a real game changer. I am able the phone on my desktop during work and now I don't need to use the phone itself at all for most things. It will also be great for using on vacation. I can just plug it into any hotel tv and have a desktop like experience or watch whatever I want from the phone. I was able to unlock it right away from Dr. Unlock on eBay who was recommended in the wiki. I am having the tracfone issue mentioned but I will order a new sim to have it transferred before the month of Boost is over. I also use Google Voice as my primary number so the actual service or phone number doesn't matter. No need to port my number when I switch services. I am no expert with cameras and i'm sure the cameras here will meet my simple needs. Overall this is a great deal to get a top of the line flagship phone at a great price.

how did you get $300 since this is only 205 after tax and fees?
The trade in value is $300. Doesn't matter matter how much you paid for the phone.

If anyone is having second thoughts about the phone and doesn't want to deal with the hassle of returning it to Boost, you can trade it in at Best Buy for a $300 gift card. I submitting the request online and went to the store. I kept the charger and USB C cable but included the box. They scanned the IMEI number, took my ID information and then gave me the gift card. Didn't even turn on the phone to check if it was unlocked (even though it was). Pretty easy money maker.
nice.
keep charger good idea.
thats like `$50 right there.

i consider the same, but rarely shop at BB anymore.

This phone is not good with TracFone T-Mobile sim only shows LTE and speeds are slow. I can put sim in Pixel 6a and speed is way better and shows 5g. I am debating trying to trade in at Best Buy I hope the value doesn't tank by time a good unlocked phone offer comes.
Use a Tracfone Verizon sim card and you will get 5g coverage

My tracfone Verizon sim does not work in this phone. Even tracfone supportt couldn't get it to work. The imei is not whitelisted for their system.

I've been using the 8.4 version. Works well..night vision is cool. Video has slight stutter. Overall pics are slightly better than orig.
I'm going to try the newer 8.5. Looks like there is also a 8.6.

Charger is worth $10 at best as they include a 30W charger with these phones, not 68W. You can buy a great 30W charger in a two pack for $18.69. Supports Samsung PPS.

I'm pretty sure their system only ships to the billing address. Seems like a few ppl on reddit have had the same issue.
Thanks for the info. Greatly appreciate it!

Desbloquealord has a website and is on hotmail. Cost me $2.22 and the code came in 10 minutes. Thanks for the rec! I have their number and email if anyone needs it.

It seems like paypal/ebay is really cracking down because the Motorola option has been taken down from the website now.
Can you please send me their email and number?
