Warning: if the ear fins, which are permanently attached, rip/tear apple will not honor a warranty claim. They will say it is physical damage from misuse/abuse. This happened to me with a pair that was only worn 40 or so times and were well cared for. apple's solution is to sell you a new pair. .

I fought them for well over an hour in store, with a manager and rep. They eventually caved after realizing I wasn't backing down and me showing them internet posts about the issue.

There are threads about this on Reddit and other forums. IMO, bad design and bad batches of rubber.

Great deal on these but poster above is correct. Mine tore after about a year and I had to superglue them back on as the only solution is to buy new ones

If I was still looking for new buds I would definitely get these. I bought a pair on the last refurb deal and I love 'em. The noise cancelling is great whenever I'm outside doing yard work. But I'm only able to compare it to regular AirPods, I'm not sure how the pros are like.

Beats fit pro sound much better, and have no trouble staying in my ear bc of the winged design. Only complaint is no wireless charging. My opinion of course.

I have both, the sound quality and noise cancellation are pretty much the same. I use the beats fit pro when working out and riding my bike, they stay in my ears much better. I have to keep pushing the AirPods pro back into my ears.
