Great deal on these great "chain whip pliers." I actually own a pair of these, and have used them to change an 11 sp cassette. They're great, and this is the lowest I've ever seen them at.

Features
  • Compatible with multi-gear cassettes (up to 12 speeds)
  • File tread grip on handle ensures it won't slip out of your hand
  • Forged steel construction offers durability and longevity
  • Covered by Feedback Sports' limited lifetime warranty
  • Made in Taiwan

You're welcome. REI has some great 50% off deals right now. Park Tool sells a version of these, but I think the Feedback is actually the better tool in this particular case. That said, the Park Tool version (CP-1.2) sells for $52 and is rarely discounted off retail price. These are about the same price at retail, but at $25, this is as low as I think they've ever been sold. You'll appreciate them when you go to change your rear cassette...

Lately, working on my own stuff that I know won't be corroded or overtightened, I've just been holding the cassette with a gloved hand and a rag while hitting the lockring with an impact. It's super quick, but I suppose there'd be some risk to the hand flesh if it was seized - so buy this tool or a cheap chain whip (or make one).

I've been cycling on and off for a couple of decades now, and yet I had no idea what this tool is for and had to Google it. Interesting! Great price.

Thanks OP. You think anyone wants a roundhouse kick to the face while I'm wearing these bad boys???
