Don't know how many SDers are avid runners, but if you use these shoes for **walking**, do NOT buy any carbon shoes, i.e. Endorphin here. It is uncomfortable wearing these for walking. Buy Triumph, which is highly cushioned, which is also good for walking. Triumph 20 is much better, but don't know when Triumph 20 is going down at $40?

Just be aware these are race shoes with carbon fiber plates. Not your regular running shoes. If you knew that already carry on just an FYI.

How do the guide 15s compare to the Triumph for walking?

I have walked 721 miles YTD in a coupe pair of Endorphin 2's I got for $40 a pair around christmas not knowing they were for racing.

Actually, 4 pairs for a total of 141+tax, down from 800 dollars.

Salty there are no Pros left in my size. These are my favorite shoe and bought a stack of them when Sauc had their employee coupon code leak end of last year. ONLY use these to run and run fast. They are built for speed and energy return and not as much to last over time. Like others said, they are not for casual walking around.

I've rocked the Speed and Pros for a couple of years now (Nike convert) but snagged the last Triumph in my size to try it out. Worth a shot...

I love the speeds. If you don't like your Triumphs, maybe try the 20s at some point. I now use the 20s for my easy runs and really like them. Before, I was using the guides/rides for easy runs. Big fan of the Triumphs. I've also been liking the New Balance 1080s.

These are great shoes. As noted by others, this is not a shoe meant for walking--although you could probably use them for speed walking. They are definitely shoes meant for racing. They received great reviews when they were released about 2 years ago and they are still outstanding shoes. For this price I had to pick up another pair. Thanks OP!

If you try to compare the Triumphs to the Speeds/Pros, you're going to have a bad time.

Personally prefer the Triumph 18 over the 19. Have not tried the 20.
