This is IPS but be aware it's 1080p and not 1440p. Pretty good price nonetheless

Currently using this. Colors look great and the response time is fast for FPS games like Overwatch. The only disappointment I have is that it doesn't have height adjustment but you can buy VESA stands/arms to remedy that.

At this size you should sit at least 2 feet back for optimal pixel density.

Picked up this one earlier this year from another deal, can recommend. The bezels are nice and narrow on the sides compared to my old monitor.

As far as a work monitor, for someone with less than good eyesight, I prefer 1080p all day. And 1080p gaming has its perks as well

The stand does not pivot; tilt only. You can put it on a vesa mount though.
