Please understand that these are made by Funai. Check better business bureau information on them. Usually, if it's made by Funai, I just walk on by. I strongly recommend the purchase of an extended warranty.

Yes mounting this would be a challenge then against wall?

But Phillips tvs are made in Japan ?

I almost bought this the other day, but I could not get any info about VESA mounting for this... I'm not sure, but I think this is not wall mountable.

Found this in the manual - "Your TV meets the VESA standard for wall mounting. Consult with your local dealer for a wall mount bracket which is compatible with your TV model." but nothing about what size/spec it uses.
