Try Carhartt T's if you want to hide the belly. My favorite for both work and casual is Carhartt loose fit short sleeve Tee's with the pocket work shirt. They're thick cotton, loose fit, very durable and last a long time. When shirt is not tucked in it will definitely hide a belly. Even when tucked in the Carhartt will hide a small belly.
I got Carhartts on sale for around this price from The Working Persons Store (I think that's the name). Sometimes they have good sales on all Carhartt. I've gotten imperfects T's from them for real cheap and I couldn't find any flaws in the imperfects.
