$200 credit over 24 months. Need to add a new watch line for $15 per month but this would've been needed anyway.
And there is also a BOGO $200 which I am not sure if it's stackable.

Seems like it. 24 months of credits is always a bit of a bummer and for this you seem to be paying $5-10 extra for a DIGITS line which I'm really not sure what value it provides for an Apple Watch. That's $120-240 extra over the term of the 24 months of credits., I guess it's not bad if you already wanted the DIGITS line for the Apple Watch but only then.
T-Mobile offer is good for ALL current Apple Watch models.
$200 off with a new line via 24 monthly bill credits when you add a new qualifying line.
How to get this offer:
Purchase a new Apple Watch Series 8 41 or 45mm, Apple Watch SE 2nd gen 40 or 44mm, or Apple Watch Ultra 49m on a monthly payment plan and pay the applicable sales tax on the pre-credit price at time of purchase.
Activate a new line of qualifying data with paired DIGITS® service on our $15/mo. premium watch plan to be used with the new device.

Interesting. I haven't used Apple watch before. Without the DIGITS line, would I always need to carry my phone for the watch to work? One primary use case for me is running and I'd like to not have my phone in my pocket.

What about the BOGO credit? Do you know how that works?
You don't have to use DIGITS, you can instead go for a standalone plan which has its own phone number and not tie to a phone.
However, I believe buying the watch with bill credit will make you not eligible for a promotional plan, so you'll have to go for the $10 plan but not the $5 plan (with autopay)

Good to know! Does the auto pay discount stack with existing auto pay discount ($15)?
And where can I find the $5 plan? I've seen it in the past but can't find it on their website

yep. I read that. Let's say if I buy two watches from t-mobile, am I getting $200 credit for both apple watches ($400 in total) and then another $200 for BOGO?

DIGITS is T-Mobile's service to allow you to use your phone number on multiple devices or use multiple phone lines on a single device. The normal setup for an Apple Watch, even without cellular capability or service active, already automatically uses your iPhone's phone number and allows you to make and receive calls, texts, etc as long as you have data access. Without cell service the means when on WIFI or with your iPhone. When I got my Series 5 it was $5 for a limited data plan, 500mb I think, or $10 for unlimited line for the Apple watch on my old simple choice plan. Since your Apple Watch will already share your phone number with your iPhone I don't see what value DIGITS adds to your Apple Watch to justify charging more for the line.
For running I'd assume you'd want a Cell plan but probably not want a separate phone number just for your watch. Setting up the Apple Watch standalone seems to be primarily for kids/teens who don't have a phone yet and the watch allows communication and tracking with find my without having to have a full blown smart phone to lock down.
I activated two lines in May 2023. I already had my watches. The promo was $ 5 for the first, $ 2.50 for the second, including taxes and fees. When I was with ATT, I was paying $ 14.50 for cellular capability for each watch. That's $ 10 plus another $ 4.50 for taxes and fees. Compare. ™ $ 7.50 total for two watches. ATT was $ 29.00.
Important. You must have cellular capable watches. Substantial discounts on Amazon. I paid $ 525 for my stainless series 7, two months before the series 8 came out. If you do want cellular capability, get the stainless steel model. I paid $ 100 more for the stainless. Well worth it.

It sounds like you really need to research Apple Watch functionality. Tons of features on the watch work without the phone nearby, but you need a cellular plan to make phone calls (except 911) and stream music/podcasts that are not already downloaded on the watch.
