I bought a lot of these cuz I thought they were the greatest things ever. After a couple months they start leaking and don't seal well and then the plastic AKA Triton starts cracking and you end up throwing them out after about 6 months.

I don't heat my meals as I'm out in the field when I eat and I have 1 set that's at least 4 years old. So can confirm not using in a microwave helps.
Have both the glass and plastic versions. I'd skip the plastic - they don't hold up great over time if using the microwave. The glass ones are amazing though.

Heating at lower temperatures can help to circumvent degradation. I am partial to glass myself, as well. But I've seen it chip when storing them and you don't want to be eating glass.

They have lifetime warranty. I got a refund after 3 years because mine started cracking.
