I am casual gamer & heard that high refresh rate monitors are good.

Most of the 1440p monitors are $250+. Is this unit any good for casual gaming and work?
Also, will monitor prices get lower by black friday. I am not in hurry to pull the trigger.

This should be solid for gaming. IPS, 1440p, and high refresh rate ticks all the boxes. The widescreen is nice too.

Haha I haven't tested yet been working out of country traveling back to states this weekend I have boxes for full new comp build and these waiting. I'll update after I actually set them up

I ended up setting it up and I'm going to keep both. The Omen is a bit crisper but the 32 inch has built in speakers and nice looking images as well. If I only kept one would prob be the omen but I'll prob wait for omen to go on sale again and pick up a 3rd monitor. Omen on each side of my big monitor in the center. Hope that helps it's not a super detailed response but can't go wrong with either imho for the price
