My Amex has an offer of spend $599 or more, get $120 back. Since I always get a warranty, I could easily hit the $599. My current Dell has a four-year warranty that ends in Oct or Nov, so I'll probably wait until it's up and check out BF deals. The offer of $120 back ends Sept. 1, but usually another one gets added by BF. I hope, lol.
Added: Just noticed they include accidental damage warranty with all the levels of warranty. I always buy the full-service one that includes accidents, so this is pretty tempting.
When does the sale end? Tax-free weekend is Aug 4-6 where I am, would be very tempting to combine that with the warranty deal and Amex deal.

Touch screen version for 550... Hm now I will have to research a little bit. Got that refurbished Lenovo deal the other day buy had to return due to non-functional touch screen.
Edit: Changing it to touch screen also changed it to 8gb and Windows 11 Pro lol. Weird.
No, this laptop will not run games well. If you need a gaming laptop, here are my suggestions:
14in: 2022 asus g14
15in: hp victus or lenovo legion/LOQ
16in and larger: dell g series
These gaming laptops often go on sale and have great performance for the price.
Same, I would like to know how they compare to the Intel xe integrated graphics
Radeon vega integrated graphics are comparable to intel's UHD intergrated graphics. AMD 680m/780m is much better than vega and will destroy iris xe in terms of performance.

Glad someone else agrees that 250 nits is awful
