I own two and they are a flawed product. Great when it works but needs some serious updating. I heard a new model is going to be released soon.

I would like to use mine, but it intermittently causes 3-5 second long black screens. And then of course the lack of HDR.

The Govee 2nd gen works really well but ya gotta be cool with camera hanging off the top the TV.

Thanks to price match and $50 bestbuy GC deal, I paid less than this for new. This however, is a pretty decent price.

What's the HDR issue ? I can play HDR/Atmos content just fine with this setup. Nvidia Sheild -> Sync Box -> LG C1

And it works amazingly well. HDMI 2.1 would have been good but, I doubt that I am saturating the current bandwidth of 2.0 with my local-4K/streaming content.

Say all you want about this "flawed" product but we've been enjoying ours going on two years. Gaming and movies are a blast! It did take a deal of patience to set up though. I just think it was worth the hassle, and it's been more or less trouble free since.

Wish it did natively support HDMI 2.1 but that's not huge to me (I've heard of the workarounds using a splitter), and I can't use my Apple HomePods (in stereo pair) and the sync box at the same time with my current setup for the xbox which is a drag. I can for movies tho.

Running mine with LG C1 OLED, XBOX Series X, and AppleTV with HomePods in a stereo pair.

My jaw dropped when I saw this price!

I second this. Never had any issue with it, it's pretty great.

Agreed, I've never had issues. I think the "flaws" are user error lol

Had to stop using mine, it seemed to insert a judder every few seconds that made shows unbearable to watch. Tried different devices and cables, never could figure it out.

I have this setup but I find it not to be accurate. Dark scenes yield the wrong colors. I've tried calibrating with no luck. It gets it right 75% if the time though.

Had the sync since they first released it and I'm not having any issues with it playing HDR or any format.

Totally worth it. Get a splitter and run one output to your screen and the other to your sync. That way you don't get the dips and issues (unless you have a bad splitter).
Keep in mind you need a hue bridge and at least two (probably more) color bulbs and fixtures that work with it.
I have the regular A19 color bulbs and the long hue play devices meant for this and I actually prefer the regular bulbs with a frosted white lamp. It diffuses the light and spreads it further. Best if they are behind or parallel with the screen.

This makes certain games absolutely better. TOTK and Time Crisis for example are totally made by the addition.

Good to know, been trying to figure out what to buy with a Dell gift card.

Where did you see details of a new model? Ideally this is just embedded as a standard in TV's.
