Yeah at first I bought Crackdown literally just to get access to the Halo 3 beta (worth it - Halo 3 is probably still my most-anticipated game of all time).

Turned out Crackdown was a great game in its own right.

Thanks OP for sharing. I, and many others, don't constantly track what games are free and/or heavily discounted.

Thanks to those who commented about Crackdown being a solid game. I snagged the game and all available DLCs.
