Yes the legends force one. The one I ordered. Trying to decide if the cheaper ones are just as good. I think the swivel handle will come in handy though even if that's the only really feature difference.
I also got the legend force. The only other difference I could find was that the legend force had adjustable forward speed and champion did not. Weight also was ~60lbs lighter for the champion

This may be one of those times where the extra weight would be helpful. It could reduce how much the tiller jumps around in rocky dirt, and generally makes it push into the ground more easily.

Does this have neutral, or wheel locks?

This thing is a pita to free wheel (neutral) to move it.

What are the thoughts on the Yard Force one that's on sale for the same price? It has a B&S engine where the Champion and Legend have their own brand.

I think the $199 Legend Force is a more serious tiller of the four rear tines offered. Even if you don't use the adjustable speeds having separate levers to shift and put it into freewheeling is a good thing. The extra weight will likely mean more smooth tilling as well.

I settled on the Yard Force for the Briggs engine, and it's lighter for my purposes, but the $199 Legend Force is probably a better choice if you are establishing a new garden, with its extra weight and adjustable speeds. It looks more robust than the others. Also I believe it's the only one that can be put into neutral so you can roll it around as well.

The champion has counter rotating tines. I don't see any mention of that for the legend force. That is a major difference.

That is a big difference and negates any issue with weight of the machine.

I look at the big picture of data and not squabble over small differences…. The over abundance of reviews on Champion tillers (yes I get some are mixed in for front and rear), are 4.5 stars and LF is 3.8 stars. On top of this, 61% recommend LF and 94% recommend Champion.

That's largely what I need to know. Could you get a unit that cuts against those reviews? Absolutely. I'd like to avoid chances/hassle. Especially if I'm thinking long term longevity.

The $200 one is 60lb heaver. I assume that translates into some amount of quality. The only difference I have been able to find is the location of some of the controls and that the handle can swivel. Anyone see any other differences?
You need heft to push the tines in the ground. But distance from the wheels, which act as fulcrum, also matters. You should also expect to apply torque for pushing tines down by pressing down on the handle. OTOH, front tine tillers need extra weights for heavy duty work, like solid concrete blocks and such, on the front side,

Study how the weight is spatially distributed and see which ones maximize the useful torque. I know, it's next to impossible unless you have access to the tillers themselves for closer examination, and lacking that such info is hard to obtain from their customer service or manuals.

Well, I bit the bullet! I have to travel 2 hours but figure a full gas will run me 60 bucks. Worst case, it cost me $260 with the cost of the gas to pick it up. Happy Tilling!
