Highly recommend for any kids who might initially be a bit scared of falling. My daughter has basically converted hers into a go-kart.
My wife and I used similar karts on our Swag*tron T6s and had a blast. Only problem is limited range compared to our ebikes.

It took my daughter a lot of practice at 8. I think an older kid could get it figured out sooner.
But it's like riding a bike…figuring out how to brake, turn, go, etc…takes a little practice.

Received mine already, it's trash. I'm sending it back. The main picture is also misleading, it's not a "one piece" hoverboard the middle part actually swivels.

Oh! Helmet definitely needed!
That same kid I talked about fell backwards off it after feeling extremely comfortable riding it…broke her hand/wrist in 3 spots. Cracked the helmet she was wearing.
