I think that only applies to bleach tablets (chlorine bleach, hydrochloric acid or cetrimonium chloride (CTAC)) that cause problems with corrosion. But may also apply to any alkali which too is corrosive. It does have Sodium Dodecylbenzene sulfonate and Sodium Sulfate, for example, (both are alkali which is corrosive) in the product. So I think this is likely damaging.

Here are the listed ingredients: Water, Sodium Dodecylbenzene Sulfonate, Sodium Sulfate, Sodium Borate, Fragrance from SC Johnson Fragrance Palette, Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, Acid Blue 9, Sodium Gluconate, Fatty Alcohol

Something like Blueland Toilet Bowl Cleaner Tablets are probably safer.

I don't think these are great for a toilet that gets used regularly and actually gets dirty or develops rings. I tried these after using Clorox tablets for a while and the toilets became noticeably dirtier while using these. I have one toilet that in my house that doesn't get used much or get any rings and it's fine for that one; I actually appreciate how the blue tips me off to when it needs changing since it's not on a typical schedule.

For those worried about it, suggest using the scrubbing bubbles gel stamps. Used for years and they mix with the water after it leaves the tank so no need to worry about it corroding seals. Bonus is I enjoy the clean scent it gives off.

I'm sure these are too large. I've been using the Clorox bromine tablets and I'd like something stronger. The ingredients are different from what's in Kaboom. I'm tempted to try Kaboom's tablets again, but they're such a ripoff. I might try straight chlorine tablets if I can find them in the right size.
