Yea, I thought the manufacturing issues with Samsung were just rumors, but had issues with a purchase last year. Bought a 85 inch QN90 last year that I had to return twice due to a damaged panel. It was such a hassle to return the TV for a replacement I didnt roll the dice with a third delivery attempt on that TV, I ended up just returning it.

exactly, most can never imagine the pain returning a TV, especially with their own little Prius

I have the first samsung oled, which came out many years back and was a true RGB oled screen (was $9k at best buy, but I bought mine refurbished) and I still love the picture on it. But would be nice to have the newer tech. Mine does have 3d, though, but wasn't 4k. I assumed all qd oled sets were considered great, but comments in here making me now think samsung did their usual and dropped the ball. What about sony?

If you get it shipped, won't best buy pick it back up? Or at least would have to let you ship it back and ups pick it up.

I ordered directly from Samsung, had to fit the tv back in its original package before fedex would pick it up

I don't know about yours, but the box my above mentioned oled from many years back came in would be as HUGE ordeal to use again. First it had those annoying straps on the 2 sides to keep it fastened, so the whole box came apart when cutting those. Then inside it had these huge padded things in there holding the tv in place.

Right now only considering 42 and 48 inch sony oleds, so hopefully won't be as bad.

Yea, box was not meant to be resused. Took alot of gorilla tape to hold it together.

What kind of quality issues are you talking about? rtings rates it the best TV on the market with a 9.0 rating. Almost all the reviews are glowing and not sure what issues other than the *bending* on the sides if you handle it improperly. Maybe, that's the case for all the razor thin OLED panels, including LG and Sony, right?
