Product Information:
  • With 0% overlap blades, the trimmer is used to create precise, even lines, dry shaving, and sharp edges. It trims hair, beards, mustaches, and sideburns.
  • The headliner clip blade is composed of strong carbon steel which helps in adjusting for the ideal cutting length. The blades are heat as well as rust-resistant.
  • Dry trimming, zero overlaps, and an incredibly close, pain-free shave are all benefits of carbon-finished blades. A strong clipper and trimmer serve as the foundation of the 27-piece complete home haircutting kit.
  • Blades maintain long-term sharpness without yanking hair because they are strong and keep sharp longer than other blades. The trimmer won't injure you as you use it.

Just a heads up, this is not a "professional" grade clipper(s). This is built/made of the entry level home user. It's the same level as Whals that you can find in target/Walmart for around the same price ($24). So don't expect too much quality with this kit.

It's good for self hair cuts at home for someone who doesn't consider themselves a professional barber or stylist though....
i bought the Oster Classic 76 [amazon.com] clipper back in 2011 and that is still going strong with weekly use. blades are sharp and high quality. bought a replacement for my (most used) 1.5 blade in 2018 since it dulled a little... but that could just be because i dont take very good care of it. ive always just stuffed it all loose into a little bin when done. i recently bought the BabylissPRO GoldFX outline trimmer and that has been a pretty awesome upgrade...being cordless for the closer cuts its huge - i do plan to take better care of this one Smilie

Good for kids haircuts. I would invest in something more powerful and sharper for adults.

Something wireless also.

Would agree Whals has some entry level quality options. Would not say they are overall low grade. I have owned one of those cheap sets from walmart for close to 20 yrs and it has just started to show its age. Still works, just has become dull. Pretty impressive really.
Can only imagine how well their higher level stuff is if this is the cheap version of that.

Could I use the headliner shaver solely for bald head shaving? I have a wahl color coded electric shaver and after removing blade attachment and trying to clean it, it became too powerful and vibrating , which makes it painful when using. Been using a multigroom 3000 for head shaving instead but it doesn't get too close and takes multiple pass throughs

Might be on the pricier side but my go to is the Wahl Magic Clippers. They are great and the blade last a long time.

After many years of buying cheap clippers, I've been doing self hair cuts for over 20+ years....I finally got a decent Wahl "Magic Clip" Cordless. Also picked up a Wahl 5-Star Detailer edger. These 2 are the only ones I'll ever need for a lifetime. They are a bit on the pricy side though....but worth every penny

That doesn't make any sense. Adults have a lot less head hair than kids.

If you're willing to spend more, the Wahl Cordless Magic Clippers is a great option. I've had it for 5 years and only recently replaced the battery for a newer high capacity battery and it runs even better than when it was new. I think it used to be around $60-80, but now it is closer to $100 these days. If you don't need cordless any of the Wahl 5-Star or professional series clippers are also excellent options.
