- Get additional $50 off using this pre-order code
- Ask Samsung Chat for a $50 discount code (a unique code that could stack with the pre-order reserve code but seems to have trouble stacking for some people).
- Get additional discounts for education, government, military, business, first responders employees without actually being one by going through Google or just clicking on one of the categories (they don't verify but give you the discount)
Same here not just this time but for the past several years.
Never verified an Educ ID, or asked to.
Used the Educ discount on a few accounts with different email providers, Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo mail.
Sometimes the Educ discount will not appear but it appeared after adding a phone to the cart, like the Flip 5 this time, and others in the past.
Sometimes there'll be a drop down with boxes to check the appropriate discount, Educ, Military, etc., but most times the Educ discount will appear.
Sometimes it helps to click on the bottom of the page on the offers links:

Samsung Rewards
Referral Program
Student & Education Offer Program
It looks not as much as a glitch but as something intentional for the order/sale to go through. - If your birthday is in August and you had it saved in your Samsung profile, you should have gotten or will get an e-mail with an extra $25 off discount which can stack with the above codes
- Add the Samsung Watch 6 separately into the cart and not as a bundle with the phone to get an extra fabric band for free.

1.) If I add a new line through t-mobile, can I go to samsung's website and buy this (using t-mobile EIP) and still get the t-mobile "new line" promotion?
2.) How many devices can I purchase through samsung using the Educator discount?
3.) I also need to purchase an s23+. On t-mo website, it shows $800 off for new line, but on samsung, it doesn't. Again, if I buy through samsung (on t-mobile IEP), but get the new line through t-mo, will it still get the new line promotion through t-mobile
Thanks for any assistance!
1. Ensure you have an upgrade trade-in offer by going on MyVerizon and looking under Account -> My Device -> Offers
2. Choose the Verizon variant
3. Ensure you do not "Add" the Verizon $1000 off carrier offer
4. Select your trade in to Samsung
5. Ensure you choose Verizon Financing as the payment option
6. During checkout you'll be asked to choose to replace an existing device and log into your Verizon account and select the line to upgrade. Choose the line that has the Verizon offer from Step 1
7. Receive your device and mail in your Samsung trade in
8. Activate the new device on the upgrade line and go to https://https://vzw.com/trade-in
9. You should see the Verizon trade in promo value - if not then you'll have some work to do by working with Verizon customer service to get the trade in promo correctly applied.
In true slickdeal fashion YMMV and it may take quite a bit of work, especially that last part

So looks like this is a universal upgrade offer for folks on "Premium" unlimited plans. The targeted offer I spoke about includes ANY unlimited which is pretty nice.

I'll add that in addition to stacking trade ins in my experience with Verizon the benefit of the carrier version is the first year warranty can be handled by Verizon and not necessarily Samsung. This makes it extremely easy and convenient to repair/exchange through Verizon instead of Samsung's network of repair and exchange services.
When my Verizon Fold 3 had WiFi issues I tried to warranty it with Samsung. They sent me to a U Fix It shop where all they did was factory reset and firmware flash the device. It didn't fix it. I then contacted Verizon and that's when I learned that because it was a Verizon phone in the first year of warranty and still on installment payment Verizon would exchange it for me. They sent me a new (refurbished) phone which was convenient because I didn't have to go without a phone during the process. Samsung offered to exchange the phone but I had to send it in first.
