The codes work if an unlocked version is chosen along with the watch 6, but if you try to add a T-Mo phone everything on the order disappears except for the T-Mo phone and there is no box to enter the codes as it is with the unlocked version.

Verizon gets to play the long con this way because after there are two newer generations of phones out, you're definitely going to be noticing that your phone has fallen behind in performance. Support is slower, apps aren't optimized for your phone any more, and things lag and drag. And that's if you don't break it or lose it first. The much better way to go for most people is to play the yearly trade in game where you wait for the best deal from Samsung or Best Buy and pay $200-400 a year to always be using the newest fastest phone.
The Verizon deal is good for people like my husband who hate change and don't often use their phones. He traded in a Note 10 for a 23 Ultra and got $800 for it. His phone barely worked with Android Auto any more by the time he caved. He is definitely keeping it for 3 years.

$349 total for a Flip5 (trade in s22 Ultra) and a Watch 6 40mm with the extra watch band. Great deal, as I was looking at $105 to upgrade just the watch with a Watch 5 trade in. I have loved the s22 Ulta but it's just too big for me, constantly falls out of my pocket. Hope I like going back to a flip phone.
