Used the Educ discount on a few accounts with different email providers, Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo mail.
Sometimes the Educ discount will not appear but it appeared after adding a phone to the cart, like the Flip 5 this time, and others in the past.

It looks not as much as a glitch but as something intentional for the order/sale to go through. - If your birthday is in August and you had it saved in your Samsung profile, you should have gotten or will get an e-mail with an extra $25 off discount which can stack with the above codes

They did the trick by issuing refunds to offset the difference + whatever taxes/fees. Initially they insist that I need to return ALL stuff in my original order (including buds2 pro & watch 5 pro). I don't know how they did it eventually but it took me 10+ calls/emails and 1+ months to get everything sorted out.

Unfolded in the original box with scotch tape. Make sure you keep the cable, I had never taken it out as I have 30 USB-c around...

Delivered to Samsung on 8/11
Received status email device received on 08/12
Received status email accepted trade in on 08/15
I messaged Samsungs chat and the rep said as long as the screen still works (as in I'm still using it), it qualifies for the cracked screen trade in amount of 800 bucks. I'm afraid the trade in dept may not accept my S22 Ultra and end up rescinding the trade in amount and charge me for the full amount of the Fold 5 AND keep my phone.
If that's the case, I might as well get my screen and AMOLED panel replaced

The $50 Buds 2 Pro do help but I think another $50 off to get it $$850-875 to upgrade with EDU discount.
The Trade-In value is nice but the price of the phone is inflated so its really a push.
