Overview: If Samsung is processing trade-ins like prior deals, you will receive instructions by email--along with a prepaid shipping label--around the time your new phone arrives. You can also print the label from your online Samsung account.
You will send in the phone only (no boxes, chargers, SIMs, cases, etc.). Phone must be factory reset and have no passwords or locks. So aggravating dealing with the "empty box" craziness with Samsung. I literally went through this again today...and gave them an earful when they said I sent them an empty box...with no watch to trade in.
Take photos and video of your phone, it's condition and the boxing of it.....including sealing it up and handing it to FedEx. I have very little confidence that they won't claim I sent them an empty box again.
The last thing you want is a $900 charge back. It happens....and it happens a lot. You've been warned
1. Get a unique code and start with a new browser with cleared cache and nothing in cart
2. Add phone to cart. Do not add the watch from this flow
3. Add unique code
4. Go back to shop and add a watch; at this time the price of the watch will be wrong but add it to cart anyway
5. Watch price will update in cart to reflect bundle price
6. Add generic code, which will now apply to the watch because it was not added to cart as a bundle
I tested this many times, and this was the only reliable way to add both a unique code and a generic code.
Seems when you add the watch during the phone add to cart flow, it flags it as a bundle and will not allow two codes to a bundle
I was able to get the following prices:
