you have 2 choices:
1-EIP, thats what you said above
2-pay in full, they refund your tiv to your acct. Then you can transfer back to your cc. You can cancel line anytime.
If you cancel your line immediately, what about the 60 day unlock? People are saying they are clamping down on that and you need to wait the full 60 days.

I'm assuming if you did cancel immediately, you're out of luck unlocking then.

Yes, the customer rep said 60 days, and I said I paid it off, and they said ok
I tried few days back and now I assume they are not able to do even though they want to do.

Yeah this is how all my calls went too.

Told them I paid off, and they are about to unlock it, but then tells me they can't. They say that the computer won't allow it because it didn't the fulfill the 60 day criteria.

You receive the trade in credit in small/even amount every month for 2 years, thats how they keep you with their service for 2 years. They will not issue you the full trade in credit at once. If you leave their service, the trade in credit stop rolling in and you own the full retail price of the phone.
Dude, stop with the lies. If he paid it off outright. There's no credit since it's not eip.

Why would you cancel your line immediately when it's locked? That's the dumbest thing they could do. Lol
If they're smart like I am. They would call and get it unlocked and then cancel

Does anyone know if I have to actually use the phone for 60 days? Or just keep the service active. Was hoping to continue to use my iPhone and unlock and sell the Samsung after 60 days.

if its unlocked and you have other phone that works with Spectrum, you should be able to use the other phone service and sell that phone.

I visited a store in Southern California where I placed an order for a Flip 5 and decided to trade in my Samsung Galaxy S9+ for $635. However, the store informed me that they do not accept trade-ins on-site, so I had to ship it to them. The store representative explained that I would receive an email and must ensure that the refund is credited to my original payment method; otherwise, it will be applied as store credit.

Fyi, I tried trading in the store today and they would not do it. Said that it probably will not happen to do in-store trade-ins until after the pre-order.

Can a phone from spectrum be unlocked?
In order for your mobile device to be unlocked, the following rules apply: It must be purchased from Spectrum Mobile and activated on a Spectrum Mobile line. The device must be paid off in full. Your Spectrum Mobile account must be active for 60 days and in good standing, with no outstanding payments.

Spectrum has promotion that if you sign up for their internet service and required anyway to place this phone order, you can get mobile service free for 12 months from activation date.
I'm a recent customer, and they offered me this. But it sounded too good to be true so I turned it down (I also didn't know what I'd do with it). Can I still get the offer upon calling?

You have a week to accept this offer as far as I remember.

Darn. If I'm able to get it, is it truly free or do you still pay fees and such?
