Moto G Stylus 5G (2021) has better camera system with a useful 8-megapixel UW len but will no longer be updated beyond Android 12.

Galaxy A14 is shipped on Android 13 and with guaranteed upgrade to Android 15! It has NFC.

I had a Samsung A12 from a similar Tracfone deal a year or so ago and the phone was slower than molasses - I mean, even for everyday interactions, no gaming, nothing fancy. Is A14 significantly better in that respect?

Samsung has a microsd slot and the card's are pretty cheap..easy to add a 400gb card...you are stuck at 128gb on the moto.

Yes you can, as soon as you get your TracFone ask for an unlock you'll get a text message then 60days later it will be unlocked to use on any network works, did this with my kids phones then I merged the two accounts and transferred all minutes data and days to my TracFone account
