Xfinity pricing is always based on the fact how much people can spend in their service area + how many other competitors are there. So lot of YMMV.

The absolute farking second that AT&T fiber comes to my area I am off forever and I don't care what deal they give me.

Select the plan you want and go through the steps. Make sure you use their provided equipment, there's no charge, to qualify for unlimited data and free Peacock.
When at final checkout page, I think it was the final page, sign in using your current credentials, review pricing, and checkout.
Less than a minute later, an automated email confirming that I just signed up for new service.
Within that minute, another automated email arrives saying I request to cancel the old account.
I signed up on Sunday. Yesterday, I received a shipping confirmation for the equipment and another email that my old service is cancelled as of 7/31. Today, the old service is still working. I am told that even if you canceled by phone, it takes several days to actually disconnect. The equipment arrives tomorrow. The best part is not having to deal with their reps.
