I've been banking with them for nearly 5 years. No major problems. My only issue is that their phone app is severely limited & kind of sucks. Other than that, if you send money, it arrives quickly & interest rates automatically raise without having to contact them. They seem to stay pretty competitive when it comes to the highest interest rate. I really like them & trust them with my money.

UPDATE: As of 06 NOV 23, the app on Android has been updated and reflects a top tier online banking experience. Very happy with the improvements that have been made.

You have more issues than just missing out on $10k!

Have been banking with them for many years. No issues, fast transfers, can manage everything online including closing accounts. Only negative is that their phone support sucks since they encourage online banking only, and they keep adding new account types with higher rates, and you have to open an account and transfer money to new account (which is pretty painless and done within minutes online)

I've been heavy into CD's with rates north of 5% and have used 10 different banks. I typically go with the highest rate CD in my term preference as long as there are no red flags and have had zero issue. Last I checked this week Nasa credit union was at 5.70% for 9 months and Raisin had a 5.40% one from Sallie Mae for 14 months. With the likelihood of rate decreases I prefer longer term right now.

I've opened one of these accounts prior to seeing it on SD, no issues so far since opening last year. The mobile app on android was awful, apparently is been updated and it's still pretty bad but it is usable. Takes about a week before the transfer shows completed if I transfer money from my checking account to this account.

Thanks. Previously, when I typed cit.com, it automatically redirected to citbank.com.
I had a problem with the bank last year. One of my CD accounts suddenly disappeared from my account list for weeks. I had to call them; they said there was a technical issue and they manually added the account back to my account list

Bask Bank out of Texas is 5.10% APY with no minimums. Been with them for several years and have no complaints.

It's FDIC insured so your money is safe. I signed up in Nov and have been happy. Like to watch the interest accrue. I had trouble signing up and had to call a few times about documents required but suddenly I see a credit in my account. Thinking it was interest in less than a month, I looked at it and said something about credit for troubles.
