I thought I hit the jackpot with a banana republic factory order last year, I spent around $300 on a new wardrobe, and only have maybe 20% of those items still in my closet due to major shrinking, or seams falling apart.
Also note there is no consistency among sizing. One t-shirt that is a large, right out of the bag, may fit great. The next bag, a different style t-shirt same size, skin tight, before even washing.

This is how most "outlet" or "factory" brands work so I appreciate you spreading the word. Timberland, Adidas, J Crew, Lacoste all make outlet lines of lower quality.

So how does it work? Lacoste goes to manufacturers and say - instead of $8 per t-shirt we will pay you $4 and you can produce it cheaply and low quality? Asking cuz I have the same exact polos from their outlet as well as Macy's and I can't see or feel any differences.
