Yes, it's a great deal, however, it will arrive damaged. I am in the process of returning 2 of these to walmart, a 10 and a 7 cu foot. Both arrived separately, were left in the driveway, HEAVILY damaged, one on its side, the other upside down. Let them sit the right way up for 48 hours, plugged them an and neither get cold. If you check reviews, you'll see they pretty much all arrive damaged, it's just a question of it it will work, and in my case, neither did. SO then you get the fun of packing them up and returning them. I keep scheduling a pickup, but then the fedex truck gets here, takes one look at the giant boxes, and leaves.

If they offer local pickup, and you have a way to get them, go for it. If you have to trust the now awful fedex with delivery, don't do it, you're just setting yourself up for a lot of extra work

I'm starting to think Walmarts whole goal was to get rid of inventory and make the money back from fedex botched shipping claims. That being said, I got the 10cu' last week with a small dent and they refunded me $50… So don't listen to me

It just keeps getting cheaper and cheaper! How low must it go before you take the chance with FedEx shipping?

They pickup for free if you have a problem Smilie the 10cu I ordered last week was damaged by FedEx as well and they picked it up next day no problem. Might try this one to see if they can handle it lol

How did you get the refund? I'm considering returning mine due to cosmetic damage. No one offered a discount because that would definitely be better than the hassle of dealing with fedex again

What is the defrosting procedure with this? You have to take everything out once a year and let all the ice melt?

Wait till winter (if you have one) and put everything outside while the ice melts in the freezer. There should be a drain plug. Most of the time, I can pull off big pieces of ice and toss them outside or in the sink.

How's everyone feel about this product? It's posted every couple of days it seems and I'm trying to get the pulse on it before ordering.

Something about it being very cheap and rebranded of a different model? Is it good enough to leave in my basement and safely keep a bunch meat and meals safe.
