Great little handheld. I picked one up for a little less than this a few months back and have been enjoying it almost daily at work. I upgraded to a 128GB SD card (picked up a Samsung for $10 on Prime Day), changed the OS, and added thousands of games. With the exception of 1 or 2 games, everything has run smoothly, even the PS1 games.

Now I'm considering upgrading to a more powerful handheld that'll run DC and Wii games. But this is still a great introductory handheld for getting into the hobby.

Shop for anything with a t618 chipset. I paid $115 for powkiddy x18s black but I'd recommend the retroid pocket 3+ or anbernic rg505 or rg405 around $160(in hindsight I'd spend more for better build) if you want to spend more get a steam deck

I bought this from Amazon a few months ago for the ease of returning if I didn't like it. It was a pretty good handheld. It had some games from mame it couldn't play. The games it comes with on the SD card is a naming mess. There are 2 SD cards needed to play this as well, one for bios, one for roms. It has built-in wifi too. All in all a pretty nice handheld. I returned it tho because I got bored of it pretty quick. Now I'm glad I did because it's cheaper by about half and I might buy it again at this price.

I have this but i think the next best step up is the powkiddy x55 that has a better processor that can go up to dreamcast and psp.

I bought one of these for my wife and a more expensive Retroid for myself. I regret not getting her the Retroid. It's a superior device unless you only expect to play pixel graphic games.

The new app user coupon for me was $25 off. Brought the price to around $33.
