Paid 99.97 a month or two ago in store. Will Costco do price adjustments? btw, it works great.
They did a price match for me on the phone today but I purchased it for 99.97 exactly one month ago.

She said it was the last day I could do a price match.

So, sounds like they only do price matches by phone within a 30-day limit?
YMMV

My father is 93 and uses the most hideously flaked off non stick pans you've ever seen. Probably 20 years of daily use. Yes I have bought him new ones but he is stuck in his ways. Once again it will not be the thing that kills him either.

Will this grill meat as good as the Foodi? I love the Ninja foodi for grilling in the winter.

What's the difference between this and the one Sam's sells? Seems the same size and functionality.

I don't have an "air fryer" but they seem great. Just have to watch out for enormous energy consumption (this is 1760-watts; or 18 100W light bulbs) and the cheap "non-stick" applications where material comes off in your food that plague many of them..
I wouldn't be concerned about the "enormous energy consumption." The 1760 watts is nothing compared to my 6400 watt oven. When you take into account the shorter cooking times and the almost non-existent preheat requirement (and don't forget about the additional air conditioning costs when using a regular oven), the air fryers are going to be much cheaper to operate. The 1760 watts is also based on full power. It won't be using full power the entire time it's on, so total watt-hours is going to be substantially lower. But even if it did run at full power the entire time, it would still probably use less electricity than what my oven uses to simply preheat. In all, you're probably looking at 5 cents to make a 30 minute meal.

Exactly - the whole point of these things is that they use less energy, not more. Smaller cooking volume = less power to heat than large oven.

It is the same. I actually bought from Sams since it includes an extra pan.

Just bought this a month or 2 ago for $99, love this thing! As a person with ADHD, this is a fantastic product that helps me to cook more often and eat somewhat healthier
How so? Sorry I have ADHD too, but also want to eat healthier.

Do you have to flip your food in a device like this for it to cook evenly?

Thank you. I checked my order, it was July 2. I will go to Costco tomorrow for a price adjustment. That will be 29 days.

If anyone is comparing the Costco version to the Sams club version. The Sams club version does not have the keep warm, reheat, or dehydrate features.

Bought one in June for $100. My daughter uses it in the dorm. It is an air fryer and rice cooker in one. It is perfect for her to prepare meals, and it doesn't take up too much space. It's a great buy at this price.
She must have a lot more space in her dorm than most dorm rooms I've seen.

we remodeled our house in 1999 and installed what was then a new technology convection oven by Fisher & Paykel (it was like $6k back in 1999 so yeah do the inflation math it was wild). fast forward to 2023, that thing finally broke. it lasted 24 years and was so good we replaced it with a brand new Fisher & Paykel which was somehow $4800 which goes to show how far technology has come with these in home convection units.

to further along your comment though, air fryers have exploded because of how useful they are for 1-2-3 person households. it completely eliminates the time and power consumption of what our built in convection ovens are able to do for us. and if you think about the electricity consumption of running your air fryer for 20-30 minutes, just think about the consumption of your built in convection ovens when they have to be ran for 2x that long due to the need of pre-heating.

so unless you are feeding 4-5-6-7 mouths a night every night, it is almost always going to be worth investing in an air fryer to cook out of 4-5 nights a week. not only the $$ savings but also the health savings. even re-heating frozen foods, you can see the amount of rendered excess oils (from pre-frying) pool up at the bottom of your air fryers when theyre finished cooking (all of that oil you would consume normall if you had not rendered it out , just think about that).
I picked up one of those Ninja XL grills and it is large. My wife was not happy. But she took it out and it has not left the counter. In California electricity cost is higher starting at 4:00 in the evening, so cooking dinner or anything in the oven can be more costly. Must use renewable energy. My son also cooks in it and he finds it convenient. So I agree it can save time, it cooks fast, and money. It also has the temperature probe so you can set and wait for it to beep to turn over the food.
