I have a claw hammer, a framing hammer, a ballpeen hammer, and a sledgehammer, and I've owned them all for years without ever greasing any of them so it's definitely time to do so ASAP which is why I bought 4 of these tubes of hammer grease, but I can't find a grease reservoir or port on any of my hammers?

You're supposed to pour it into your toolbelt pouch (think reservoir) and dip the head of the hammer in the grease before hammering each fastener, or in the case of the ball peen, you dip it about every 10 whacks.

I add this to all my hammer handles. Axe and splitting maul also. Reduces friction burn, calluses, and blisters. As a bonus when tools fly out of hands and hit coworkers = instant unemployment. Who doesn't want to be paid sitting at home!

How does this compare to Lucas Red and Tacky? Looking for grease for my DA polisher.

nvm most grease is cheaper per oz.
