Seems like a paradox; you have all these different color controllers, and no games to play.

If Microsoft had half as many first party games as they do unique colors for controllers, they'd be doing pretty well.

lol, the regular version never goes that low, this special version obviously won't.
Misremembered, got my Lunar Shift for $45, swear I've seen it go lower. As the other commenter replied, base controller dips below $40 regularly. Never paid full price for one.

Special edition or just special color? When connecting using BT to PC, do you need to map all the button using another program or it will natively just works without a dongle.

Lunar shift was $35 from Verizon not long ago. I got one then.

Special color. Works natively with Windows over BT without any need for configuration.

will these still work with my Microsoft usb dongle? I use first gen elite, but my left analog is starting to drift.
I was able to fix two of my controllers, one wouldn't consistently pick up when I'd press a stick down, the other had bad drift. The hardest part is taking the grip covers off, they're attached by clips and it's tricky to pry them off without damaging the controller, but once that's done it's a pretty simple procedure. For one I fixed it just blowing air/clean the bottom of the stick base with alcohol and cotton swabs, the second I loosened the clips around the stick base as it seems they were interfering with the sensor. Potentially not permanent fixes but worth doing since they are out of warranty, and it doesn't make sense to send them in for repair if new controllers cost as much.

I have 4 XBOX X controllers with severe drift at the moment. I can't even play with them anymore. Playing FPS games with drift is a nightmare. For now, I've reverted back to my XBOX 360 controllers, which all have various issues.

I really want a new controller, so I'm thinking about getting this one with a protection plan. Does anyone have experience with the plans and if they'll replace a controller with drift? Any tips on how to prevent or fix drift?

Thanks for the tips! I've tried alcohol and q-tips, but it didn't help. Someone told me drift is caused by dust getting down in the stick base, so I should store them upside down. What do you think about that?

Ever notice how much worse they get after an update? All mine took a turn for the worse after updating them through the console.

Target also has it for 49.99 right now, plus a red card to bring it a little lower
