I've put almost 20 hours into the game with a 5700 XT and can count on one hand how many times I have noticed "pop-in textures", playing on "High" settings (chosen by the game's benchmark) and 1080p. You can absolutely play any of those listed titles with 8 GB VRAM after a few performance patches they've all received by now.

This game starts out strong. I felt like the best part was when you're exploring the castle and taking classes. The world itself felt tacked on like they ran out of budget. I was never compelled to finish it.

I don't consider 60-100 fps at medium/high settings at 1080p a 'subpar' experience.

Certainly don't need above 8gb unless you're running 1440/4k. My 3070 is 8gb and got 100fps on high settings in 1080p.

Great game for Potterheads. Killer price OP. Playing on PC core I7 discrete graphic card w/12GB memory on high settings with no issues at all.

i have a 6750 xt, been playing this game a lot with my 9 month son. right now sitting at 28 hours. only problem is, he likes to hit the keyboard when we are getting into battles. so although i do have gameplay issues it has nothing to do with my gpu.

it's kind of insane how many different "things" you can do in the game. like randomly collecting "magical beasts" in your secret zone and then harvesting their fur, in order to update your clothes? that's kind of insane lol. i was kind of impressed with the fighting system, it reminds me a lot of dark souls 3? also the plot is actually somewhat good. sometimes i get stuck on dumb things though, but i don't restrict myself from google so that isn't a big issue.

Ty both. Everyone I know who got it similarly lost interest pretty quick. Was wondering if perhaps it got better but doesn't sound like it. Saved me some money!
