It looks like Sony is targeting to whom that must buy high end cameras not for everybody

So if I want some good cinema camera with lens minimum start is 3k man that is not very affordable

When they updated the screen and made it the A7r Iva it seems the price increased, I've not seen the non a version for the prices you stated other than keh and mpb and both being used, where is it on sale for <2 k?
