It's racquetball. It takes an expensive dedicated court. Pickleball is playable on a conventional tennis court. There's probably a hundred tennis courts for every racquetball court. Racquetball isn't dead. It's just not super popular, and it never has been.

Indoor balls are useless for me as there a no indoor courts anywhere near me. Also there are many sets which are a little higher in price but with outdoor balls. This one seems artificially high priced and then reduced to bring down closer to what its really worth.

For beginners, I don't think it really matters. I'd stick w/ fiberglass though, as the wood ones are a bit heavier and not great balance if you're not used to it.
