This is one reason why large data centers are still using mechanical SAS drives and tape for archival purposes.
Moreover, the TBW on solid state comes nowhere close to the longevity of a traditional hard drive.
As nice as it would be to replace all of your drives with solid state, there are just some instances where magnetic storage is more robust and plenty fast enough.
One thing you can do to get the best of both worlds is do important backups on a hard drive and buy one of those plug and play hot swap cloning docks that allow you to insert your SSD like a game cartridge. This way, you have the reliability of a hard drive and the quick retrieval speed of an SSD, should you need to restore anything immediately.
