We use Cottonelle exclusively because we love it.
Their 1-ply is better than most other brands' 2-ply.
I can take 1 square of the CleanCare and wipe down my bathroom counter with it. It's good stuff.
The only complaint I could even imagine people making is that it's too linty (maybe) for them or it's not great for their septic tank. Sucks for them though, because I'm sure Scott is great for your septic but it's absolute trash IMO.

I'll make an exception for Scott, it's bad in almost every way. Weak, scratchy, not even that cheap, "count" is even more meaningless than other TP brands, etc.
I guess it's great so that you can say "yeah we have TP" but doesn't actually do anything useful.

Cottonelle Ultra is the ONLY brand endorsed by the Ulcerative Colitis research foundation! It practically saved me so much pain and discomfort years ago when I was diagnosed. It is used by millions of colitis and irritable bowel syndrome patients. It has solid research to show that is one of the only toilet papers that do not aggravate the external fissures and ulcers. In fact, many hospitals will give this to fissure patients because it has a low fragility(how well it stays together when wiping) count and is sensitive enough to not cause friction or discomfort.
