If you are an AMC Theatres stockholder and you have already opted into AMC Investor Connect, check https://www.amctheatres.com/amcstubs/rewards to see if you have the free popcorn reward in your account.
Sorry someone made a shitty joke instead of answering your question when they quoted you, but no they don't need any proof. You just check a box saying you're an investor. At least that's what I did a year or two ago, and I've gotten all the rewards.
I've never had anyone question a refill for a large popcorn at my theater no matter if it was free or paid for.
Because they are a TRUE. AMERICAN. PATRIOT. AND! they want to bring to light the EVILS of trafficking!

How do we sign up for the program and how do they verify that we are stockholders? Do they need access to our Robin Hood account?

Well, at least if you've been paying full price for popcorn, you've been boosting your company's earnings and can celebrate with some thermally expanded endosperm.

Ha, it's $4.83 a share right now if it's AMC (and the description matches). I mean at that price, why not play along? 😉
More accurate to define them as 'bagholders', instead of investors, considering the 1-year chart shows the vast majority are bag-holding this stock with unrealized losses. They would be lucky for this stock to pop and for them to get out break-even -- until the CEO does more dilution, of course.

Oh dang. That's dumb. Should at least make us upload proof. I really am a bag holder.

Guess I'm lucky, my average is ~4 and I have $4 $5 and $6 options expiring 1/24 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

"Watching"? As in claiming the free tickets but not actually going like everyone else? Lol.
Cheaper than a large bucket of popcorn, for sure!
