Here are some pictures re: adding wheels to the Ryobi miter saw stand. If I had to do it all over again, I'd leave the axle longer so the wheel track would be wider and more stable over uneven terrain. I thought I was maximizing clearance by making it as narrow as possible. But the reality is the saw itself is far wider than the wheels, so that was kind of a misplaced emphasis.

Not to talk anyone out of it because I'm really happy with the Ryobi stand - it's extremely versatile and well-built - fantastic value for the money. But if you've never owned a miter saw stand before, unless you're sure it's going to live only in the shop, a wheeled stand is really worth it. This is a very doable DIY project, but think long and hard about passing up an equal quality wheeled alternative, even if it's twice this sale price.

Is it a bad idea to jimmy rig 2 of these with a table saw in the middle to push through and hold up an 8 foot plywood?

Or can someone recommend something for my table saw. I'm afraid to touch the thing.

I can get it shipped to store for $59, but as soon as I enter my zip for shipping, price jumps to $69. This is even in PayPal checkout.

You can get a couple of these to help with plywood. They are also good for ripping long boards as well. Menards has the cheapest, then it's harbor freight. Home Depot is almost twice as much.

Yeah I bought this stand for $69.99 years ago which used to be the sale price - I think it's worth it even if all you can get it for is $69.99 - any saw stand is a game changer if you don't have one.

Looks to be $69 permanently. I tried inputting zip codes from a few places that this thread said worked for $59 (Katy, TX; Inglewood, CA; Detroit, MI), but it never moved off $69. I tried shipping to store and delivery, same story.

I picked one of these up the last time it was on SD. Great little piece, solid when assembled, folds up nicely in a corner when not in use. Makes a great portable stable platform for my dual miter saw. Handy to quickly set up outside and aviod those nasty clean-ups when working in the basements. Although a Ryobi fan, this fits my old 2nd hand Delta miter saw with some very minor adjustments. If this stand fits your needs, it's a great piece that should give a lifetime of use with a litte care.

Tried all the mentioned methods to get it for $59, but always reset to $69 upon final steps of checkout at my zip. Still worth it to me for current project, so I still bought.
