Is this better than the Solidigm 2TB deal from a few days ago?

Have tried 2 of these in 2 different new Dell computers and both randomly fail to boot (blue screen - inaccessible boot device error). In one of the Dell computers, there is 2 of these (C: and D: ) and when it does boot successfully, the D: drive might come up missing.
Takes many power down/reboot cycles before it works. I leave my PC on 24/7 so it's not a big deal until I reboot then I get real nervous!

Something is wrong with these drives, not sure what. Nextorage support is nonexistant.

Fortunately, no loss yet. The drives don't fail, they just don't initialize or something to where Windows can't find them. Ultimately, like I said, they do wind up working, it can take 20-30 minutes of rebooting, etc. Windows, due to boot failures, wants to do Windows repair but of course that isn't the fix because it's not Windows, it's the drive.

I am disappointed with the lack of response from Nextorage. Makes the 5 year warranty practically worthless.

I'd be worried storing any important data on a drive that won't always boot. I've seen some old SSD's lock and read only but others I've seen where they just completely stop booting at some point

I had that happen to me with one of my SSDs, so I just reinstalled windblouz, deleting and reformatting the drive during the install. That seems to have fixed the problem.

Good Luck
