Just swung by this thread to plug The Greatest Showman, that movie absolutely slaps (even if its not even remotely historically accurate) my kids all love it, they will happily watch it weekly. Triple media copy for 7 bucks is a no brainer, i paid twice that and feel like i got a steal.

Are these time limits strictly followed by MA or the studio that released the movie?

The MA codes usually still work even after the listed expiration date.

It seems like most of the studios don't really hold to the expiration date on them from my experience, with the exception of Warner Bros. who seem to have started enforcing them in the past year.

Is this for a streaming copy? Don't care about the hard disk, and I don't see the virtual option on Amazon.

They've always enforced it even before MA, and shared library was through Ultraviolet.

How do I know? I've had it happened and they were WB movies. Reached out to their CS, and all I got was a sucks for you type of response.

Correct. My 4k disc MA code was definitely still HD version. I even emailed the studio customer service, and they confirmed Showman code is only good for 1080p version for MA/Vudu streaming.

Crap, not 4k! Wish I knew that before I bought.

I'd like to understand how I missed this. Does it tell me that it's 1080/HD-only somewhere on the disc case images or product description?

FWIW, HighDefDigest review of The Greatest Showman 4K disc gives it 4 stars for video and 4.5 for audio. Sounds like a fun one to show off a Dolby Atmos setup.
