Make sure the AWD on Avis site state Amazon Benefits otherwise you will not get Amazon GC. Also check if the rate is lower without Amazon benefit or any other AWD.

There are rectangular drop down menu selections on the Avis screen when you are putting in your details like pickup/dropoff location, dates, etc. You would think that Amazon Benefits would be the default code if you have just logged in with your Amazon credentials - but no, there is a 'primary' discount code that is the default. So you must click on the little dropdown 'v' next to 'Discount Codes' first, then click again on the little drop down 'v' next to 'Enter a Discount Code'. Then you will see 'Amazon Benefits'.
