That being said, this laptop is a great buy. It has been with me for countless field exercises and other things. It's very durable.

In the end I just changed battery properties to
"When plugged in, PC goes to sleep after" to "Never", and I keep laptop plugged in.
Now, laptop works no problem every time and is ready immediately after I open the lid. A bit inconvenience to keep the laptop plugged, but this is nothing compared with the freeze-ups ,cold restarts and waiting till battery is fully drained. Lenovo never provided any solution for this problem.

For example this laptop's battery life is rated at 6 hours. Why would you add a pound to the laptop to extend that when a vast majority of people would want a more portable laptop compared to 9-12 hours of battery life they'll never need?
More useless specs taken out of context....surprised no one is screaming about "nits" yet....
FWIW I have a i3-1215U with 8GB of ram that can play Far Cry 5 at low settings with 30-40 fps. This processor is similar in performance (like neck and neck if I am not mistaken) if that gives you any idea of performance.
