Might want to reread that. "Aggressive" would be a great way to describe it honestly. And the rest of your posts before that.... keyboard warrior Wink

Now, you probably didn't mean it like that but that is how it came off. Since you didn't give Dr.Wajahat the benefit of the doubt, do you deserve the same?

*I am sure I will be attacked for echoing your statement.

1080p is crazy these days
I mean our human eyes are x by x and they've been that way for millions of years. 1080p is good enough for me.

Being in my forties, I agree. If I were super young, I would want a screen like that is on the new Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 16". 16x10 aspect ratio, 120Hz, very bright, super pixel dense, touchscreen and OLED to boot.

I appreciate pixel density less as my eyes get older and ability to focus my eyes for longer periods of time diminishes.

It's not really the 1080p that's the issue, it's whether or not the screen is good enough to display 1080p properly. Bought my dad an hp omen a couple of black Fridays ago and the screen is atrocious. Not saying it's the same screen but I'd definitely look at the floor model before committing

The resolution the human eye can see is around 567 megapixels. That like 30,120 x 18,824 compared to 1920 x 1080.

I mean, 1080p is fine, everything can be compromised but not the 45NTSC. Really, that thing makes you feel you bought a $200 laptop

I'm in the camp spec-wise this a good deal, setting the issue whether the screen is good/bad to the side because I can't comment on that. Not many laptops for these specs are near the $600 range and are sold by reputable sellers that most people have access to. If I didn't just buy the Acer nitro 5, I would of probably got this.

Note I'm old school and I buy laptops that best fit in the obsolete category of desktop replacement laptops, so I don't care about weight and chunkiness.

For the people doubting the screen, simply pick up a $130 gaming monitor on sale. We're on SD so it's not like that's a something you'll have to go out of your way to find.

It's simply a better and more immersive experience due to the size (24/27"). It offers more performance on certain laptops without Advanced Optimus because the graphics aren't being routed through the internal CPU (Intel Xe/UHD).

This deal is pretty good since 40-series hasn't been out for long and 3060 laptops were Acer (bad build but good perf.) or the Gigabyte which had a very poor battery. None that I know of were from HP Omen at this price.

Not that interested in this laptop or the screen but will comment that you are 100% ignoring distance in your equation. How far people are from something drastically changes the eye and brains capability and the changes are measured in very small distance differences.

Thanks a lot, I've ordered one.

UPD: At the morning I found my order cancelled. There's no such laptop in 250 ml around.

I hate BestBuy.

Bought one at $512 and returned due to single fan design. I think OMEN as a higher end should be more premium
