Doesn't require a EDU email, but they do use SheerID to verify you. If your information is in their database (name, birthday, and college) then you are verified. Same process as Spotify Student

Are parents can sign up for kids using their school ID?
Pretty sure it's meant for college students. Not sure about Walmart but usually these student deals require a valid email ending with .edu upon signing up. I've seen people selling student email accounts on e b a y before but IDK how legit it would be. If you have a kid in college just tell them you'll sign up with their email and pay for it and both of you can share the account/benefits.

I verified easily on UniDays and ID.me but SheerID always gives me problems. Not sure why.
I got this deal earlier when they had the promotion for subscribers who cancelled, the paramount plus subscription that's included does not include showtime.
I signed up for this and switched my subscription over to student and prorated my current subscription and refunded me what I had left and I had to pay for the 50 dollars for the year.

I hate crapid. Never works, but uni and ID are flawless.
