These are Dixie Ultra plates. If you haven't used one in a while, these are (arguably) some of the sturdiest ones around. You can hold up to 2lbs on one and they resist folding / bending if you hold them via one hand even fully stacked.

Most folks don't use "ultra" plates or need 10 1/16" however. Realistically folks use "everyday" plates and 8 1/2" ones. Those average 4.7 ~ 8.2 cents a plate. I know my way around this topic only because I use to be in charge of break room supplies for a small office I worked at once.

At least it breaks down quickly/is easy to recycle unlike foam or plastic plates/cups

Yes, if speaking by $ per piece. But, those are 8.5" plates vs 10" here.

These really do hold up well. I was trying to save money and purchased the store brand at Walmart and they were too flimsy. They are fine for laying on the counter eating but not walking around eating at a party.

But you waste toilet paper? Get a bidet and you won't need toilet paper either. Or perhaps just use a very small amount.
